6. Air Police sentries assigned duties as entry controllers at entry points to Tan Son Nhut Air Base leave much to be desired in personal appearance, military courtesy and attention to duty. It was moted several times during the visit that entry controllers posted with QC guards were not observing personnel entering/departing the base and would in some cases completely ignore military officers entering check points.

ACTION: The BSP should take immediate action to correct the above deficiencies.
