(2) A priority posting status chart will be established and maintained. Strict adherance to these priorities will be prepaired to permit officer on duty to make changes as required so no pattern is established and allowances are made for varying defense requirements. (3) Expanded Security Posture Checklists will be prepared and in use by 10 May 1967. i. Two CSC SAT's will be established under the immediate control of CSC by 10 May 1967. It may be necessary to reduce the night-time defense capabilities to cope with this requirement; however, every effort will be made to maintain the current capability. j. Central Security Control will be designated as a Priority B area, posted and enforced accordingly. k. Communicator/plotters will be trained and familiar with the Expanded Security Postures I thru VI when the checklists are deployed on or before 10 May 1967. l. Supplemental instructions have been issued requiring sector supervisors to report the status of their sectors hourly, and SSI's are being re-written and published accordingly. Revisited SSI's were distributed on 17 April 1967. m. By mutual agreement between this unit, the VNAF and USARV, who in accordence with 7AF IGS guidance on utilization of personnel (see Attachment 6, Tab C) the daytime liaison NCO was temporarily eliminated. The co-location of JCF and CSC in the same building, the revised layout of the existing JCF with wire communications and radio contact with CSC, and the assignment of USARV personnel to perform the same function eliminated the daytime need for this NCO. This unit presently maintains one NCO per night, from 2000 to 0400 hour in the JCF. n. Paragraph 5, 377th AFSR 100-4, dated 2 April 1967, established an authentication code to verify senders and receivers of emergency messages by radio transmission. o. Noted. (1) All SSI's were screened. SSI #2 was signed by the Security Operations Officer on 15 April 1967. (2) SSI's reviewed during the inspection were the spare master SSI's in CSC. Most SSI's are written for use on numerous posts, and thus are not numbered until placed on post, e.g., 87 bunker posts utilize a master SSI applicable to all. This is an economy measure to preclude the publication of 87 SSI's identical to all respects except the post number. FOR OFFICIAL USE ONLY |
