| Photo courtesy of: Charles Penley. This photograph was taken in 1968. It is a photograph of Bui, (pronounced: "Boo-e" who was one of our mama-san's. Each airman paid her $ 10.00 each month. Each mama-san had ten GI's. She would wash the clothes, polish the boots and keep the barracks clean. I truely hope that she is alive and well, after the end of the war. |
