This is a 1969 photograph.   This photograph shows the Freedom Bird, shortly after take off.  It is my final view of Tan Son Nhut, Air Base, Saigon, Vietnam.  At the time, I did not realize that I would miss it, my friends and my two sentry dogs, as much as I do.
