Members of the 377th Security Police are trying to identify 86 individuals, of which 25 have been identified, who were awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for Bravery, Tet Offensive, Jan-Mar 1968. On page 24 of the PDF, you will see that 104 security policemen were recommended for AFCM for the Tet Offensive. 86 had been approved, with 18 pending. |

Click the icon on the left. It will open a PDF, Special Order G-840, dated 15 March 1968, and has a total of 25 names. That is 25 names out of the 86 that had been approved. We are desperately looking for additional Special Orders for the missing 61 names. The special orders G-78 we are looking for are for a large number of us who received a medal for the specific combat action period of 1/31/68 to 2/2/68 battle of TSN during TET.
