Kirtland AFB, Albuquerque, NM dedicated the above plaque, naming an enlisted domitory.
A2C Bevich was manning one of the Sentry Dog positions with his assigned K-9, REX 674F. The VC sappers penetrated Tan Son Nhut, Air Base.
A2C Bevich raised the alarm and engaged the enemy. A2C Bevich, was the first USAF Sentry Dog handler, to be killed in Vietnam.
