A1C McDonald (an African-American) died (brain stem contusion) in the line of duty at his K-9 Security Police post, Tan Son Nhut AB, 14 Apr 70, at 21 years of age after only one month in-country, while assigned to the Blue Patrol of the 377th SPS.
