Ralph Dane Guyer, Jr., High Point, North Carolina - Ralph Dane Guyer, Jr., 67, of 600 Huntington Drive, died Friday, March 6, 1998, at his home.

The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 8, 1998, at Oakview Baptist Church by the Rev. Steve Smith and the Rev. Kenneth A. Miller.

Interment will be at Floral Garden Park Cemetery with full military graveside rites.

Mr. Guyer was born Jan. 18, 1931, in High Point, the son of Ralph Dane and Rachel Eddinger Guyer, Sr.

In 1977, he retired from the U.S. Air Force, after serving in Alaska, Iceland, Vietnam and as an Air Force Recruiter.

In 1993, he retired from G.S.A. Federal Protective Service.

He was presently employed with Sears Teleservice in Greensboro.

He was a Mason, a member of Piedmont Lodge 681 and was a member of the Scottish Rite of New Bern.

Mr. Guyer was a member of Oakview Baptist Church, and the men's Sunday school class.

On May 24, 1952, he married Marcelene Garner and she survives of the home.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Duane Guyer and wife, Debra of McLeansville; Brent Guyer and wife, Martha of High Point; one grandson, Daniel Guyer.

Mr. Guyer will remain at Sechrest Funeral Home on East Lexington Ave. and the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight, at the funeral home.
