Emmett, Idaho - John Charles Holm, 58, died Monday morning December 7, 2009 at his home in Emmett, Idaho.
John was born on October 12, 1951 in Cascade, Idaho and spent the majority of his life in Horseshoe Bend and Boise, Idaho.
John was a Vietnam Veteran that served in the U. S. Air Force as a Security Police Supervisor during 1971-1975.
John obtained a Bachelor Degree and was employed by Hewlett Packard for 19 years.
He recently worked as an IT Specialist for U. S. Department of Agriculture, Forest Service.
John was survived by his wife Pamela Sue Holm, of Emmett.
Together, for more than 14 years, they experienced the changing scenes of life in a joyous and fruitful companionship.
He was also survived by his two daughters, Valerie and Misty Holm; his grandson, Sage Spracklin; and his step-son and step-daughter, Peter Coates and Jennifer Holmsen.
John was loved dearly by many people, family and friends, and it was a privilege for us to know a man of deep kindness and conviction.
His funeral service will be held Saturday, December 12, 2009, at 2 pm, at the Potter Funeral Chapel, 228 E. Main Street in Emmett, Idaho.
Friends may call Saturday for a viewing from 10:00 am until service time.
A reception will follow the funeral ceremony at John's home at 2929 Waterwheel Road in Emmett, Idaho.
