The Chronology of VC/NVA Attacks on Tan Son Nhut Air Base, RVN, is redacted from a United States Air Force book, "Air Base Defense in the Republic of Vietnam 1961-1973, written by Lt. Col. Roger P. Fox, USAF.  There were ten key Air Force Bases in Vietnam.  Each time an Air Force Base was attacked, it was reported to higher headquarters and a numerical number was assigned to that particular attack.  Therefore, in the first column, the number might go from 007 to 011.  That means that three other attacks took place at other Air Force Bases.  I am only reporting those attacks, pertaining to Tan Son Nhut, Air Base.

There is a Pacific Stars and Stripes newspaper dated:  June 18, 1965, "Hit during Safety Lecture, 46 Americans Injured In Airport Blast."

This attack IS NOT listed in the United States Air Force book, "Air Base Defense in the Republic of Vietnam 1961-1973, written by Lt. Col. Roger P. Fox, USAF.

"The Pacific Stars and Stripes," addendum information is being supplied by MSgt John Mayfield, for the "Attack On Tan Son Nhut, June 16, 1965."

It shows two photographs and a good article.

This took place on Tan Son Nhut Air Base.
