Please indulge me, for the next few photographs.  They are not of Tan Son Nhut, but are of my late twin brother, Bob.  He was a Marine stationed in Chu Lai 1966 - 1967. Although he worked on the A-4's, he was always quick to remind me that he was a Marine first, then a mechanic second!  I never doubted that. He spent as much time outside the perimeter as on the Flight Line.  He died several years ago with cancer, surrounded by the usual suspicions (Agent Orange.) that we never acted on.  (Mom wanted it that way.)
