My wife, Rebel, (yes that's her given first name) visiting the Saigon Zoo. She received permission from MACV (invitational travel orders) for commercial flights from Naha to Hong Kong to Saigon. She was able to spend a week in Saigon and at Tan Son Nhut and was very likely one of the extremely few dependant wives that visited there. She visited Saigon and Tan Son Nhut in January of 1973, from where we were stationed in Okinawa.
