My barracks was the last one on the left, near the heliport.  The Army helicopter mechanics had one barracks in the Ponderosa BEQ and it is the last on the right. The fires and fighting started early and continued into the evening as evident by this photo being taken at dusk,  We both, Army and Air Force folks sitting on the steps viewing the fighting.
