Thomas (Thom) Henry Bell III, 77, of Middletown, OH passed away, on October 22, 2025, after battling cancer.
Thom was born in Trenton, OH on May 11, 1948, to Pauline Jones Bell and Thomas H. Bell Jr.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Jonathon (“Johnny”) Robinson (Middletown, OH); best friend Charles (“Cousin Chuckie”) Fisher (Julliette, GA); and other loved ones lost over the years.
He is survived by his daughters Tangilena Bell (Middletown, OH) and Destiny Bell (Cincinnati, OH with husband Josh Georgia); grandsons Nikolas and Ewan Robinson, and baby Georgia in utero; sister Mary Stephanie (Bell) Wilson (Douglassville, PA with husband John); dear friends Bill and Judy Robbins (Eaton, OH); and by former spouses and many friends and cousins living across the US.
A proud Vietnam Veteran, Thom served in the US. Air Force 1968-1970. : :He was honorably discharged at rank SGT E4, earning honors including the Presidential Unit Citation, the Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm, and multiple Air Force commendations for valor and meritorious service.
Following his military service, Thom dedicated 40+ years to the trucking industry and was also known for roles in the transportation space, as an entrepreneur (“Pappy’s Place”) and handyman, and most recently as a security guard for Warren County Armco Park :– :departing just earlier this year.
Thom loved God, the Blues, good BBQ, Western novels, cheering on the Bengals, finding the best deal, and caring for his pet cats, Lizzy and Molly. : :He will be remembered with affection.
