PATTERSON, Lawrence R., Age 72, died peacefully in his home surrounded by family on Thursday, July 10, 2008.

Lawrence is survived by Virginia, his wife of 52 years, six children, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and two sisters.

Lawrence is most remembered for his love of God, family and friends, and service to his country.

During his distinguished 28 years of military service, he received numerous medals and ribbons to include the Bronze Star Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal with 1 OLC, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, NCO Academy Graduate Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, Army with 1 DVC, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with 5 DVC, National Defense Service Medal with 1 DVC, Vietnam Service Medal with 3 DVC, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with 5 OLC and Master Security Police Qualification Badge.
